Tuesday in CEO we went to Gray’s restaurant in Bridgeport ,IL . Gray’s is owned by Todd Gray. His dad got out of service in 1945 and bought the building Gray’s is in today and started the restaurant. Todd Gray started helping as soon as he could and eventually took the business over. In 1980 they added on the second dining room to seat more people.
One thing Todd said about his business is that through the years the way they do things hasn’t changed other than technology. A big point he made was keep your customers happy and while it is needed for more people to come to your business you also want repeated business.
When asked what it takes to run a business he said you need to wear many hats. For example you go where you are needed sometimes. We want to thank Todd Gray for taking the time to talk to us.
